Val-d’Isère Tignes

Planning a ski or snowboard vacation? Consider Val d’Isère, one of the classic French ski stations, which is linked with their more modern neighbour, Tignes. Together they comprise “L’Espace Killy,” named after 1968 Grenoble Olympics triple gold medal winner, Jean Claude Killy.

There you’ll find 186 miles of marked runs for all levels, with plenty of off-piste for experts. And Val d’Isère is best suited for advanced intermediate and expert skiers, as it’s steep and above the treeline.

That said, Val d’Isere still offers plenty of beginner and intermediate runs. And even more can be found at Tignes.

Click in the red navigation bar above. You’ll find a selection of skier-point-of-view (POV) videos of Val d’Isère runs, so you can try a few before you go.

Go ahead. Find your mountain.
