Swiss ski vacation in your plans? Grindelwald is famous for its spectacular views, of the Eiger, for example. And nearby Wengen for the longest World Cup downhill, the Lauberhorn. And there’s plenty of accommodation, too.
The two are connected by lifts and trails, and their combined ski area, known as Kleine Scheidegg, is the largest, with 50 runs and 132 miles of terrain.
Intermediates will love Grindelwald, as most of the runs are intermediate. Experts will prefer the off-piste options.
